Jogen Mil
Jogen Mil creates modern figurative abstraction with organic lines and nature-inspired forms, exploring culture, environment, and conservation. She experiments with mixed media to build texture and fresh perspectives, using vibrant colors to convey positivity energy, while some works embrace abstract effects beyond traditional color theory.
Through her exploration of materials and techniques, Jogen produces dynamic and thought-provoking works that invite viewers to experience familiar themes in new ways. As a teacher, she engages audiences by asking playful questions, encouraging reflection and interaction with her art.

Jogen Mil is a Fine Arts graduate with a Master’s degree in Education from the University of the Philippines Cebu. A two-time Jose Joya Awardee, she is an educator, visual artist, and Toastmaster dedicated to lifelong learning and growth. Guided by her motto, KEY – Keep Educating Yourself, she believes each day is a chance to improve, inspire, and uplift others through art and education.
She currently teaches Contemporary Philippine Arts to Senior High School students, nurturing creativity and cultural appreciation among the next generation. Her works often reflect nature and culture, and she is among the featured artists in Pintig Pinoy, a postcard collection celebrating Philippine heritage. Jogen continues to exhibit her art in various galleries across Cebu and Manila, sharing creativity and promoting local artistry.
She has recently presented her work in Singapore with the Cebuano Arts Club and hopes to expand her reach internationally, bringing Philippine artistry to a wider audience. She also conducts regular art workshops, inspiring both beginners and seasoned artists to connect, create, and learn from one another through the shared joy of artistic expression and the creative process.
As a creative doodling artist, Jogen launched the Grati-Doodles Journal, merging gratitude and art to foster reflection and positivity. Recently, she established the Creative Cebu Collective, a platform for showcasing her work and supporting artists to connect, collaborate, and grow while sharing Philippine pride through their art.
Jogen envisions a world where artists can build thriving and meaningful careers, celebrated and respected for their passion, craft, and contribution to society.
