Her fascination with words and imagery eventually led her to poetry, and she began collecting books that spoke to her inner world. In a small booklet of Emily Dickinson’s work, one title stood out: Astra Castra, a Latin phrase meaning “the stars my camp.” It echoed her curiosity and love of exploration, a quiet reminder that creativity lives in those vast, glowing spaces above and within.
 

Today, Astra’s art channels that same spirit in vibrant, pop-inspired forms. Her work bursts with color, graphic shapes, and playful details, often accented with touches of gold, rose gold, or silver.
